On 4th July 2024, Karot Hydropower Project held an Open Day for the local community at the Karot Hydropower Project to celebrate the 2nd Anniversary of Karot COD. More than 35 participants from the local community of Karot Hydropower Project, including school children, teachers, and their parents participated in the event.
The Karot Project team organized a series of exciting indoor games, including Musical Chair, Cricket, and Race Competitions. The event also included a communal lunch, fostering a sense of unity and connection among attendees.
During the project tour, participants explored the viewing platform, the spillway and the dam structure. They keenly followed the guided tours and asked questions relating to the reservoir, the dam, and the powerhouse.
